Eyelash Technician Trainer / Lash Technician Trainer Principal Responsibilities:

• Lash Stylist New Hire Training
  • Facilitate the initial lash and brow service training to build skills and capabilities of newly hired Lash Stylists such that they can apply lash and brow services and meet individual and studio objectives.
  • Facilitate ongoing training for additional services including but not limited to brow services, lash lift services, brow waxing services, etc.
• Ongoing Individual and Group Informal Mentorship
  • Review key performance indicators for each Lash Stylist and conduct informal mentoring in accordance.
  • Observe the studio Lash Stylists’ work to determine quality of service, provide feedback, and make suggestions for improvement.
  • Supervise and monitor studio Lash Stylists’ use of tools and equipment.
• Lash Stylist Recruitment and Selection
  • Assist the studio manager in the recruitment and selection process as needed.
  • Conduct Lash Stylist resume screening, phone/Zoom^®/face-to-face interviews, and mannequin practical interviews.
  • Participate in the hiring decisions of the Lash Stylist teams.
  • Promote and gain advocacy of the Lash Stylist team.
• Lash Stylist Engagement and Turnover
  • Accountable for the growth of the studio Lash Stylist numbers through increasing Lash Stylist work engagement and decreasing Lash Stylist turnover.
  • Work with Lash Stylists regularly to ensure Lash Stylists are continually developing professionally, meeting individual and organizational goals and always learning.
• Technical Execution of Amazing Lash Studio Services
  • Assist Lash Stylists with Corrections / Adjustments.
  • Maintain own book of clients and services
• Studio Culture and Leadership
  • Meet regularly with studio leadership to align on organizational needs and objectives.
  • Communicate organizational objectives in an inspirational way to Lash Stylists.
  • Act as mediator between Lash Stylist team and studio leadership.

Here’s what we’re looking for in:

• Licensed or certified to perform lash and brow services in your state and / or municipality (typically an active and current esthetician or cosmetologist license).
• Experience with customer service in the beauty industry
• Experience conducting eyelash and brow service corrections / adjustments to ensure guest satisfaction and loyalty.
• Experience in increasing quality of service execution of peers.
• Proven track record for gaining repeat business.
• Proven track record in upgrading services to guests.
• Experience with facilitating formal technical lash and brow service training in accordance with a training curriculum and certifying successful completion of training programs.
• Experience with facilitating mentorship, or informal on-the-job lash and brow service training.
• Experience being a leader in handling with finesse, a high traffic, high stress, environment where attention can often and abruptly be pulled in multiple directions.
• Experience in leading organizational culture – embodying a culture of learning, development, and potential for growth.
